In Province of Vojvodina in Serbia, Public Engagement and critical discourse with the public in relation to Information and Communication Technologies and digitalisation are addressed, as well as Open Access to research work in the Health/Biomedicine and ICT areas.
The R&I ecosystem of the province is diverse, with the well-networked University of Novi Sad nationally and internationally, several established clusters linking academia and businesses and a smart specialisation strategy in place.
In WBC-RRI.NET, we support public engagement and training in relation to ICT potentials, digitalisation and the use of technology by citizens – with specific focus also on women. Access to journals, open access publishing avenues and repositories as well as the promotion of research work done towards the public is important.
