Discover how the implementation of RRI ‘anchor’ initiatives enhanced the efficiency and inclusivity of R&I ecosystems across the Western Balkan countries.

Work Package 4 aimed at implementing the RRI ‘anchor’ initiatives in the 5 Western Balkan territories, drawing on the input of the co-design process. The goal was to consequently trigger RRI-driven institutional/territorial transformations and a multi-level R&I governance framework in the WB territories. Each territory had specific tasks (Task 4.1 through Task 4.5), led by different partners and focusing on distinct RRI aspects, while they all received support from the horizontal partners throughout the entire implementation. ‘Anchor’ initiatives were based on the RRI conditions and RRI keys, leading to the development of open, transparent, and democratic R&I systems, while promoting sustainable transformations at institutional and territorial levels.
