
It is led by Andjela Pepic from University of Banja Luka and co-chaired by Ildiko Ipoly from the European Science Foundation. The working group operates since the start of 2022 and aims to implement activities until 2024 and beyond. It is open to new members who are invited to express their interest via the following form:
The objectives of the WG include:
Understanding the state-of-play The WG aims to identify the level of involvement in Gender and Ethics related activities of research performing organisations (RPOs) in the region.
Exchanging experiences It aims to facilitate an exchange of experience related to the preparation, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) which are mandatory for the participation in Horizon Europe).
Raising awareness We aim to raise awareness on the aspect of “gender-based violence” and sexual harassment in academic organisation. Furthermore, we discuss ethical issues in research and the processes to set institutional standards. We also aim to facilitate a “Gender Equality Podcast”
Proposing new ways of doing things We aim to discuss ethics governance for RRI in Higher Education and RPOs.
Additionally, the working group supports the collection of good practices via the following form and support communication about the working group’s activities.
